Turkey

I'm really behind in blogging (obviously), but here are a few pictures from our trip to Turkey.

Two of my favorite people here taught us a family tradition of theirs. Suuuuure love them.

This was probably one of the best fish I've ever had. Though the head freaked me out at first, I conquered that fish.

The few days we spent there were really great. Turkey was not at all what I expected, and I hope that one day I'll be able to go back.
Since then we have visited Jordan. I will try to put pictures from Petra up soon...in about 2 months.

The Holy Land

The first week of being in the Holy Land has been quite amazing. We've gone to see a few places and they have all been exquisite. At this rate, I might never want to leave.

Tomorrow night we are going to the Western Wall to welcome in the Sabbath day.
In just over a week we leave for Turkey.

I feel so lucky.

Oh, and happy cinco de mayo, everyone.

Everyone, lets give Deacon Garrett Mitchell a big welcome into the world. Born April 18th at 7 lbs and 15 ounces, he is the newest member of our family.

Utah

I've been hanging out with my sister Val and her family the past few days. It's been great.

Jerusalem: 6 days
(Side note: right when I wrote the days left, Matisyahu started playing on my Avett Brothers station on Pandora. I think it's fate.)

Jerusalem

For those of you who don't know, I'm going to be living in
JERUSALEM
for the summer.

The down side:
We are only allowed to take one checked bag and one carry on.
This is quite impossible, as I am a die hard over-packer.

The up side:
Everything else.

I'm heading to my sisters house in Utah in approximately 8 hours, which is where I'll be staying until the group actually flies out on the 27th.
I've been trying to UNDERPACK (for once in my life) for the past, oh, four hours. It's not going so well.
